K.Nageswara Rao, Adilabad District v. Chief G.M.,Telecom Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. And 2
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 17460 of 2004 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not allowing the petitioner to take part in training for Junior Telecom Officer at Regional Telecom Training Center, Hyderabad, scheduled to be held from 27.09.2004 on par with the other candidates, as illegal and arbitrary. A consequential direction is also sought to the respondents to permit the petitioner to take part in the training.
On 28.09.2004, while admitting the writ petition, this Court granted an interim order in WPMP No.22890 of 2004 directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to undergo the training. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for the respondents have submitted that the interim order dated 28.09.2004 granted by this Court in WPMP No.22890 of 2004 has been complied with and, hence, the cause in the writ petition does not survive and the writ petition becomes infructuous.
Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs. ______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 4th September, 2018 cbs
