HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.7083 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioners/A1 to A3 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.384 of 2010 on the file of Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Sangareddy, which was registered against them for the offence under Section 498A, 342, 506 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

2) When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 07.02.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Sangareddy Town PS., Medak District and submitted that the case was compromised before the Lok Adalat on 27.4.2010 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.384 of 2010 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

3) There is no representation for petitioners.

4) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
