THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.24387 OF 2017 O R D E R:

The writ petition is filed seeking a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 3 to 5 in calling the petitioner to respondent police stations without any reason or cause as illegal and arbitrary.

It is the case of the petitioner that the respondents 4 and 5 are oftenly coming to the shop of the petitioner and threatening him with dire consequences to deposit 27 grams of gold, otherwise, the police would take action against the petitioner. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Home, in instructions, submits that the respondent police are not going to the shop of the petitioner and threatening him in any manner whatsoever and the petitioner is making all the false allegations against the respondent police. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
