Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent.

The case of the petitioner is that his father was working as Head Cook in the hostels of the respondent University and he expired on 08.11.2015 due to ill-health. The sister of the petitioner, his brother and the petitioner are the children of the deceased. His sister and brother got married and they have been living separately. The petitioner states that he completed B.A degree course and is also acquainted with M.S.Office. He belongs to SC community. He submitted a representation on 07.01.2016 to the respondent to consider his case for appointment on compassionate grounds, and when the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition is filed. Since the relief sought in the Writ Petition is for consideration of the representation dated 07.01.2016, this Court is inclined to dispose of the Writ Petition with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.01.2016, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
