ORDER

This criminal petition under sections 437 and 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is filed by the petitioner-A1 seeking to grant bail in connection with Cr.No.109 of 2015 of V. Madugula Police Station, Visakhapatnam District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 20(b)(i) r/w 8(c) of NDPS Act, 1985.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. It is alleged that on 05.10.2015 at 5.30 hours, on information, the Excise Officials reached the outskirts of Satyavaram village fields and found A1 and A2 in possession of 100 Kgs of ganja in 5 gunny bags for the purpose of illegal transportation.

4. The petitioner is in judicial custody since 05.10.2015. Since the contraband seized from the possession of the accused is a commercial quantity, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to him. 5.
