The case of the petitioner is that her husband Late Abdul Sattar joined the last Grade Service in the Department of Social Welfare as Watchman on 14-03-1985. While the petitioner was in service, he died on 27-05-2014 after putting a service of 28 years, leaving behind him herself and their two sons. That the elder son of the petitioner has failed 10th class and could not prosecute further studies. Her younger son had passed SSC examination. On making representation to the respondent-authorities, the elder son of the petitioner was given appointment as Attender at TSWR School, Yellareddy on compassionate grounds by the 2nd respondent by order dated 02-02-2015. That the elder son of the petitioner reported to duty on 01-03-2015 and on joining duty, unfortunately he passed away after undergoing two surgeries at M.N.J.
Institute of Oncology & Regional Cancer Centre, Red Hills, Hyderabad. That though elder son of the petitioner married one Nasreen Begum on 17-01-2010, but a deed of divorce was executed according to Muslim customs and ceremonies in the presence of elders and quazi. That care and custody of their minor son was fastened to the wife of the elder son of the petitioner. As such, the petitioner made applications on 03-06-2016, 14-02-2017 and 04-07-2017 to the respondents to provide employment to her second son on compassionate grounds.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Bhupal Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for respondents 2 to 4. Since the grievance of the petitioner is already pending before the respondents by way of representations dated 03-06-2016, 14-02-2017 and 04-07-2017, it is for the competent authority to take decision on the said representations. As such, the competent authority is directed to dispose of the representations filed by the petitioner and take action accordingly.
