O R D E R

(Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) This Civil Revision Petition under Article 227 of the Constitution is directed against the order dated 08.11.2016 passed by the Arbitral Tribunal in I.A.No.1 of 2016 in Arbitration Case No.110 of 2015. The said I.A. was filed under Section 16 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 raising a dispute as to the jurisdiction of the Arbitral Tribunal.

The power of judicial superintendence vesting in this Court under Article 227 of the Constitution would not extend to private Arbitral Tribunals. That apart, the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 prescribes the procedure to be followed in the event of rejection of an objection raised under Section 16 thereof. Thus, on grounds more than one, we are of the opinion that this Civil Revision Petition is misconceived and is not maintainable.

The Civil Revision Petition is accordingly dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand dismissed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
