COMMON ORDER:

These two writ petitions have been filed by the Associate Professors of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar University and JNTUA, Anantapur feeling aggrieved by Memo bearing No.6882/UE.II/2010-I, dated 06.07.2010, whereby the erstwhile Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued certain clarifications to G.O.Ms.No.14, dated 20.02.2010, resulting in postponement of pay scales of the petitioners. Sri J.R.Manohar Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners, has addressed a letter to the Registrar (Judicial) on 13.07.2015, wherein it is stated that these two writ petitions are covered by the judgment, dated 23.06.2014, in W.P.No.18255 of 2010 and batch, with a request to post the writ petitions for hearing. These cases have been accordingly posted for hearing on 18.08.2015. On that day, the

learned counsel for the petitioners made a mention for advancing the hearing of the cases on the ground that the cases are covered by the above-mentioned judgment. Accordingly, the cases are posted 'for orders' today.

Though the cause list had shown the Government Pleader for Higher Education (AP) and the names of the Standing Counsel for the respective Universities, no one appeared at the hearing. On a perusal of the judgment, dated 23.06.2014, in W.P.No.18255 of 2010 and batch, I am convinced that the issues raised in these two writ petitions are identical to that disposed of by this Court in the said batch.

Following the said judgment, whereby the Memo impugned herein was set aside with a declaration that the petitioners therein are entitled to pay band of Rs.37400-Rs.67000 with AGP of Rs.9,000/-, these writ petitions are also allowed in terms of the said judgment with the direction that the reasons and directions contained therein shall form part of this order.

As a sequel to disposal of the writ petitions, the pending interlocutory applications shall stand disposed of as infructuous. C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY, J 19th August, 2015 VGB
