HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T. AMARNATH GOUD WRIT PETITION NO. 35638 OF 2013 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner to declare the action of the respondent No.2 neither permitting nor calling petitioner for participating in the fourth National Lawn Bowls Championship-cum-selection commencing from 12th to 19th December, 2013 at Kolkata as biased, arbitrary and consequently to direct the second respondent to allow the petitioner to participate in the selection of Indian Team for the common wealth games to be held in Scotland and to pass such other suitable orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

2. The subject matter involved in this writ petition is that 4th National Lawn Bowls Championship-cum-selection commencing from 12th to 19th December 2013, making the petitioner to participate or not to participate in the sports. The Common Wealth Games to be held in mid 2014 in Scotland, since the duration is over and nothing survives in the writ petition for adjudication.

3. Accordingly the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.

4. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
