HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.5648 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioner seeks to quash the proceedings in Crime No.79 of 2013 on the file of Dharoor Police Station, Mahabubnagar District, registered for the offence under Section 3(x) SC,ST (POA) Act.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 24.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Dharoor Police Station, Mahabubnagar District and submitted that after filing of charge sheet, S.C.No.06 of 2014 was registered and the same was ended in acquittal vide judgment dated 17.02.2016 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.79 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
