This Writ Petition is filed challenging proceedings of the 3rd respondent in Rc.No.1065/HR/SERP/TP/2012, dated 01.06.2014 in removing the petitioner from the employment. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri M.S.R.Chandra Murthy, learned Standing Counsel for respondents 2 and 3.

It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that against the impugned removal proceedings dated 01.06.2014, petitioner filed appeal before the 2nd respondent on 17.07.2014 and same is pending before the 2nd respondent. Since statutory appeal is pending before the 2nd respondent, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 17.07.2014 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
