HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 11376 of 2004 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not allowing the petitioner to appear for written test and interview for selection and appointment to the post of part time sweeper, as illegal and arbitrary. A consequential direction is also sought to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for selection and appointment to the post of part time sweeper without insisting that her name should be sponsored by the employment exchange.

None appeared for the petitioner.

While admitting the writ petition, this Court directed the respondent No.1 to permit the petitioner to participate in the examination/interview without insisting that her name should be sponsored by the employment exchange, vide orders dated 06.07.2004 in WPMP No.14471 of 2004.

In view of the interim orders passed by this Court, no further orders are necessary in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
