Heard.

The petitioner claims to have purchased the agricultural lands admeasuring Ac.5-09 gts., in Sy.No.131, Ac.5-00 gts., in Sy.No.133/B, Ac.5-04 gts., in sy.No.134 and Ac.5-09 gts., in Sy.No.135 situated at Sripathipalli Village, Ghanpur (St.) Mandal, Warangal District, and accordingly, made applications to the 3rd respondent on 23-08-2013, 10-09-2014, 17-10-2014 and 20-10-2014 seeking mutation of his name in the revenue records, after paying requisite fee. However, alleging that no action is taken by the 3rd respondent, in spite of making aforesaid applications, the present writ petition is filed. The matter of his nature cannot be kept pending indefinitely. In spite of the petitioner making applications on four occasions, no action is stated to have been taken by the 3rd respondent.

Hence, I deem it appropriate to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the aforesaid applications of the petitioner in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders expeditiously, preferably within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
