THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.8835 OF 2016

O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner was that the police authorities failed to register a crime and take action upon his representation dated 13.08.2015.

Written instructions dated 04.04.2016 were furnished by the Inspector of Police, Anandapuram Law and Order Police Station, Visakhapatnam City, wherein he denied receipt of the complaint dated 13.08.2015 alleged to have been made by the petitioner. In the light of the aforestated stand of the police authorities, Sri C.B.Adarsh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, fairly stated that his client would make a fresh complaint as per the due procedure. The writ petition is accordingly closed permitting the petitioner to make a fresh complaint, if so advised. Needless to state, the police authorities shall abide by the directions laid down by the Supreme Court in LALITA KUMARI V/s. GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH[1] in the event such complaint is received by them from the petitioner. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
