HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM Contempt Case No.1830 of 2016 ORDER: (per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan)) Sri M. Balaji, learned counsel for the petitioners, would submit that the order of the Division Bench, violation of which is alleged in the contempt case, required the deputation of Officers, from the other departments of the Government to the Authority, not to exceed the period of three years; alleging violation of the said order, the present contempt case is filed; the respondents had, thereafter, filed W.P. No. 18157 of 2013 and, by order in W.P.M.P No. 57668 of 2016 dated 2.1.2017, the respondents were permitted to extend the deputation of the four Officers for a further period upto 31.5.2017.

In view of the subsequent interim order passed in W.P.M.P. No. 57668 of 2016 in W.P. No. 18157 of 2013 dated 2.1.2017, we seen no reason to proceed against the respondents under the Contempt of Courts Act. The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed. No order as to costs.
