HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.4491 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioner/A.8 seeks to quash the proceedings in Crime No.383 of 2007 of WPS, CCS, Basheerbagh, Hyderabad, which was registered for the offence under Section 498-A IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 12.06.2018 of Inspector of Police, W.P.S., CCS, DD, Hyderabad and submitted that the accused/A8 was acquitted by the XIII ACMM Court, Hyderabad on 30.09.2013 in CC No. 224/2009 (Crime No. 383/2007) and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.383 of 2007 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
