ORAL ORDER:
This writ petition is filed challenging the show cause notice dated 24.3.2011 calling upon the petitioner to submit his explanation as to why he should not be removed from service.

When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for petitioner and learned standing counsel for respondent corporation produced joint memo signed by the petitioner and Mr R Shiva Kumar, Law Officer/ authorized signatory of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation. The terms of joint memo would disclose that management has agreed to take the petitioner back on duty revoking the suspension duly imposing the punishment of postponement of two annual increments with cumulative effect and treating the period from the date of suspension till the date he reports to duty as continuity of service only for the purpose of retirement benefits and that petitioner is not entitled to any other benefits for the period from date of suspension till he reports to his duty. Petitioner has agreed for the said course of action proposed by the respondent corporation. The joint memo is taken on record and marked as Annexure X. 3.
In view of the settlement of the dispute, the writ petition is disposed of in terms of Joint Memo. No costs. Having regard to the same, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
