ORDER : (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy) This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: ".... to issue a writ or order preferably in the nature of Writ of Mandamus and after calling for records pertaining to the impugned No.SPOO(CGM-HRD) Rt.No.798, dated 19.10.2015, rendered/passed by 1st respondent promoting the junior private respondents as Superintending Engineers/ Electrical as contrary to law and unconstitutional, and consequently set aside/quash the same as such and consequently; direct the 1st respondent to consider and promote the petitioners as Superintending Engineers/ Electrical with retrospective effect from the date the said juniors are promoted with all consequential benefits like seniority, arrears of pay etc., and consequently pass such other order or orders ....."

At the hearing, Sri R. Vinod Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.1, fairly submitted that the issues raised in this writ petition are squarely covered by the judgment of this Court in P.B. KARUNAKAR AND OTHERS v. THE STATE OF TELANGANA AND OTHERS1.

In the light of the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of in terms of the aforementioned judgment with a direction that the observations and directions contained therein shall form part of this order. No order as to costs. 1 2018 (3) ALD 470 : 2018 (2) ALT 671
