THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.12548 of 2018 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioners seeking verbatim the following relief:

"For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in calling the petitioner to the police station without there being any criminal case against as being arbitrary, illegal, unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to follow the procedure prescribed by the Hon'ble Apex Court and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

I have heard the submissions of Sri Lakshmikanth Reddy Desai, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (Telangana) appearing for the respondents 1 to 4. I have perused the material record. 3.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, dated 12.04.2018, a copy of which is placed on record, would submit that a report has been received from the wife of the 1st petitioner herein, Smt E.M.Rajani; that, since the matter is a matrimonial matter, the case was referred to the District Legal Cell Authority (Family Counselling Centre), Ranga Reddy District; that the said authority is enquiring into the matter; that the said enquiry is pending; that after counselling of the parties, depending upon the result of the counselling, further course of action would be taken in the matter, as per procedure established by law.

Recording the submissions, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
