Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

This Writ Petition is filed alleging inaction of the respondent authorities in issuing the pattadar passbook and title deeds in respect of agricultural lands in Survey Nos.19, 20, 29, 30, 31, 32 and 33, total land admeasuring Acs.15.11 guntas, of Mohabbath Nagar Village, Maheshwaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. The petitioners claim that even though representation dated 15.03.2019 was made to the Tahsildar, Maheshwaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, the same is not acted upon and the same is illegal.

Apparently, the application is not made in prescribed form as required by the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 (for short, 'the Act') and the Rules made thereunder. Therefore, it cannot be said that the respondent authorities are negligent in acting upon the application filed by the petitioners.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed granting liberty to the petitioners to make an application in accordance with the provisions of the Act seeking issuance of pattadar passbooks and title deeds in their favour. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
