THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 36095 OF 2016 O R D E R :

The petitioner claims to be the absolute owner of the land in an extent of Ac.2.00 in R.S.

No.

583/3 situated in Rajamahendravaram Urban Mandal, East Godavari District. The main grievance of the petitioner is that the 6th respondent has been quarrying the sand illegally from the River Godavari and dumping the same in his land. Assailing the said action, the petitioner filed Writ Petition No. 1742 of 2010, which was disposed of on 19.03.2010 directing him to submit a detailed representation to the Assistant Director of Mines and Geology. Pursuant to which, the petitioner submitted representations, latest being the one dated 01.09.2016, to the 3rd respondent Assistant Director of Mines & Geology, Gandhipuram, Rajahmundry, but no action has been taken thereon. Hence, the Writ Petition. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Mines & Geology (Andhra Pradesh) appearing for Respondents 1 to 3.

The grievance of the petitioner in this Writ Petition being limited, this Court feels it appropriate to direct the 3rd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 01.09.2016 submitted by him, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.

With this, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall also stand disposed of.
