This writ petition in the nature of Habeas Corpus, seeks production of one Naguluru Thirupathaiah, father of the petitioner, who according to the petitioner, has been illegally detained by the police. In view of the nature of allegations, respondents were directed to file counter on earlier occasion. We have perused the counter placed on record dated 4.5.2015. It reveals from the averments in the counter that a Crime bearing Cr. No.38 of 2013 under Section 379 of I.P.C. had been registered against two unknown persons. Thereafter, in connection with the said offence, in the course of investigation, they have arrested Naguluru Thirupathaiah, alias Buddaiah, as an accused. The counter further states that on his arrest, he confessed to have committed three more offences bearing Cr.Nos.

108 of 2013, 32 of 2015 and 10 of 2015, at different Police Stations. They have further stated that one of the stolen properties in Cr. No.38 of 2013, namely, 36 gms., of gold chain has also been recovered from Naguluru Thirupathaiah. In view of the averments made in the counter, it cannot be stated that the detention of Naguluru Thirupathaiah is illegal. No case for interference is made out. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed.
