HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 12031of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioners/A.2 to A5 seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 178 of 2013 of Women Police Station, Begumpet (N/Z), Hyderabad, which was registered for the offences under Section 498-A r/w 34 IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 14.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Women Police Station, Begumpet, Hyderabad and submitted that the case has been compromised before Lok Adalat on 30.01.2015 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 178 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
