THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.38315 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the 3rd respondent in implicating the petitioners as A-4 to A-9 in FIR No.710 of 2016, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard and perused the material available on record. The main grievance of the petitioners is that the 4th respondent lodged the present complaint against the petitioners alleging that the marriage between the 4th respondent and A-1 was performed on 04.06.2009 and that A-1 performed second marriage with A-2 with the support of the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are no way connected with the alleged crime and that the 4th respondent did not file any document to support the 2nd marriage. Considering the grievance of the petitioners, the 3rd respondent is directed to complete the investigation in FIR No.710 of 2016, as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, either way in accordance with law, without arresting the petitioners.
