I have heard the submissions of Sri M.Bhushan Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (TG) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. I have perused the material record.
3.
At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that if a direction is given to expedite the investigation into the aforestated crime and file a final report, as early as possible, the grievance of the writ petitioner stands redressed. 4.
Learned Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, dated 23.04.2018, a copy of which is placed on record, would submit that after registration of the crime, investigation is taken up and during the course of investigation, L.Ws.1 to 3 were examined and their detailed statements were recorded; that a request was made to the Sub-Divisional Police Officer to obtain the call data of the phone number of the accused from the concerned service provider; that as there is prima facie evidence against the accused, a notice under Section 41-A Cr.P.C.
was issued to the accused on 21.04.2018 and that the Investigating Officer is properly and fairly conducting the investigation into the crime.
5.
Recording the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Station House Officer, Pitlam Police Station, Kamareddy District/3rd respondent herein, to expedite the investigation into the aforestated crime and file a final report, either way, by strict adherence to the procedure established by law.
