Petitioner claims to be the devotee of Pydimamba, a local Deity revered and worshiped by the people in Visakhapatnam. The Government of Andhra Pradesh vide its proceedings No.13/16362/2004 dated 20.12.2004 had taken over the temple under Section 6 (c) (ii) of Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institution, 1987. The grievance of the petitioner is that in spite of proceedings of the Government, the 4th respondent was managing the temple. Hence, this writ petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent to take over the management of the Pydimamba Temple, Buchchirajupalem, Visakhapatnam District. The second respondent filed a counter affidavit stating that Executive Officer was appointed to the Temple vide Rc.No.A1/357/2008 dated 29.01.2011 of the Deputy Commissioner, Endowments Department, Visakhapatnam, and presently the temple is under the management of the Executive Officer.

In view of the assertions made in the counter affidavit, the grievance of the writ petitioner stands redressed and no further orders need be passed in this writ petition.

Hence, the Writ Petition is closed.
