HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 23599 of 2012 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for revenue appearing for the respondents. With the consent of the parties, the writ petition is heard and disposed of at the admission stage itself. The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus declaring the proceedings of the 3rd respondent issued vide reference No.B/83/2012 dated 5.07.2012 and also the inaction of the respondents in considering the application dated 17.07.2012 made by the petitioners seeking issuance of pattadar passbooks and title deeds in respect of land admeasuring Ac.1.48 cents and Acs.6.02 cents in Survey Nos.254 and 255 respectively situated at Tadigotta Revenue Village, Chinthakommadinne Mandal, Kadapa District, as illegal and arbitrary.

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the application of the petitioners dated 17.07.2012 at the earliest. The learned Government Pleader for revenue submits that he has no objection for disposal of the representation of the petitioners, provided the same is still pending consideration. Having regard to the circumstances stated above and

without going into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of, advising the 1st respondent to dispose of the representation dated 17.07.2012 made by the petitioners, if it is still pending consideration, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions if any pending in the writ petition shall stand dismissed.
