This writ petition is pending since 2001. Interim order that was granted on 1.11.2001 was operating only for a period of one month. That seems to be the reason why petitioner has lost interest in prosecuting this petition further and hence nobody is coming forward to work out this matter on merits. Hence, we are constrained to dismiss this writ petition for non-prosecution. Order accordingly.

Consequently, pending miscellaneous petitions also stand closed. No costs.
