HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Writ Petition No.10670 of 2015 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus to declare the inaction of the respondents in considering the petitioner's application dated 02-08-2014 for registration of New Fresh Water Aqua Culture Farm in terms of G.O.Ms.No.7, dated 16-03-2013, as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to issue certificate of registration of New Fresh Water Aqua Culture Farm to the petitioner.

The grievance of the petitioner in this Writ Petition is that even though he made application for registration of fresh water aqua culture farm on 02-08-2014 by application No.1512, no orders are passed by the respondents so far.

Considering the same, this Court is of the view that the Writ Petition can be disposed of as follows :

Respondents 3 and 4 are directed to consider the application No.1512, dated 02-08-2014 of the petitioner for registration of fresh water aqua culture farm and pass appropriate orders expeditiously, if the petitioner is eligible, as per the provisions of law. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in the Writ Petition are closed.
