The petitioner, who retired as a Superintendent in the Judicial Ministerial service, has come up with the above writ petition seeking a Mandamus to direct the respondents to re-fix his pay in the posts of Stenographer Grade-II and Grade-I, by applying Fundamental Rule 22(a)(i) and 22B, as amended by G.O.Ms.No.50 dated 23.04.2009 and G.O.Ms.No.100, dated 08.08.2013.

2. Heard Mr. V. Hari Haran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Swaroop Oorilla, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

3. Admittedly, the issue raised in this writ petition is covered by a judgment of this Court in W.P.No.2491 of 2016 dated 20.04.2016. Therefore, following the same, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to take appropriate action in accordance with the said judgment and the Fundamental Rules, and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
