THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION NO.27443 OF 2007 ORDER:

When this matter was taken up for hearing today, it is reported by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that the present writ petition was filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pay the compensation for the loss of bore well in the land of the petitioner, which was acquired by the respondents, and during the pendency of this writ petition, the respondents paid compensation, as can be reflected from paragraph No.8 of the counter-affidavit, by way of cheque bearing No.063528, dated 2.2.2008, and in view of the same, cause in the present writ petition does not survive.

Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
