Heard learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for respondents.

The alleged inaction on the part of the respondents herein in completing the enquiry pursuant to the show cause notice, dated 17.01.2018, initiated under the A.P.State Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2008, is under challenge in the present writ petition. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners, the petitioners herein submitted their explanation to the show cause notice, as long back as on 12.03.2018, but the respondents have not finalized the enquiry so far.

On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that if some reasonable time is granted, enquiry will be completed as expeditiously as possible.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer to finalize the enquiry and pass appropriate orders pursuant to the show cause notice, dated 17.01.2018, by taking into consideration the explanation offered by the petitioners herein after giving opportunity to the petitioners herein, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Miscellaneous Petitions pending consideration, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
