THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.13098 of 2018 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the only grievance of the writ petitioner is non-completion of investigation into case in Crime No.76 of 2016, on the file of Nadendla Police Station, Guntur District, registered against respondents 4 to 10 and non-filing of the final report, by following the procedure established by law.

I have heard the submissions of Dr.Challa Srinivas Reddy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. I have perused the material record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if a direction is given to expedite the investigation and file the final report, by strict adherence to the procedure established by law, the grievance of the writ petitioner stands redressed.

Learned Government Pleader for Home endorses the said submission and further submits that the petitioner may be directed to extend necessary co-operation to the Investigating Officer.

Recording the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Station House Officer, Nadendla Police Station, Guntur District/3rd respondent herein, to complete the investigation into the afore-stated crime and file a final report, either way, in strict accordance with procedure established by law,

MSRM, J W.P.No.13098 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible. It is needless to state that the petitioner shall extend necessary co-operation to the Investigating Officer during the course of investigation. There shall be no order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
