Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2 and Sri N.Praveen Kumar, learned Standing Counsel, appearing for 3rd respondent.
Petitioner claims to be resident of Alair Municipality and he belongs to Scheduled Tribe. In this Writ Petition, the petitioner alleges that the respondents are not following the principle of reservation to the Schedule Tribes and not reserved the 6th ward to the Schedule Tribes.
Learned Standing Counsel for the 3rd respondent-Municipality submits that the arrangement for formation of wards and the finalization of voters' list is completed recently based on the population in the respective wards and the principle of reservation would also be complied with.
In regard to the said submission, the prayer in the Writ Petition is premature and accordingly the Writ Petition is dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to work out remedies as and when cause of action arises.
