This is an application filed under Sections 10 to 12 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, alleging willful disobedience of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.22831 of 2006 dated 14.11.2013.

The petitioner herein filed the said writ petition praying for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the Respondents to sanction the Central Freedom Fighters Pension from the date of application dated 1.2.1980 with interest and other benefits applicable to the Freedom Fighters under the scheme of Swatantra Sainik Samman Pension Scheme, 1980.

This Court allowed the said writ petition by order dated 14.11.2013, directing the Respondents to send verification report pursuant to the enquiry conducted on 28.6.1999 by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tenali and to finalise the claim of the petitioner for grant of Freedom Fighters Pension under Swatantra Sainik Samman Pension Scheme, 1980 with a further direction to the respondents to complete the entire exercise within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the order.

The learned Assistant Solicitor General has produced a copy of the Order in F.No.52/CC/AP/01/2007-FF (SZ) dated 26.12.2014. By virtue of the said order, the Government of India rejected the claim of the petitioner for grant of Freedom Fighters Pension.

Since the Union of India already passed an order, rejecting the claim of the petitioner, no further adjudication can be undertaken in the present contempt case.

For the aforesaid reasons, the contempt case is dismissed. However, it is open for the petitioner to question the order of rejection passed by the Government of India vide Order in F.No.52/CC/AP/01/2007-FF (SZ) dated 26.12.2014. As a sequel, the Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
