HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND HON'BLE Ms. JUSTI CE J. UMA DEVI L.A.A.S. Nos. 350, 404, 413 and 421 of 2017 COMMON JUDGMENT: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) Despite several adjournments being granted, the appellant in these appeals failed to take steps to bring on record the legal representatives of the sole respondent in each of these appeals. Learned Government Pleader for Appeals states that despite his best efforts, he could not take any steps in this regard as no instructions were received by him.

As the appeals stand abated upon the death of the sole respondent and as the appellant failed to take necessary steps despite ample opportunity being granted, we are left with no option but to dismiss the appeals on the ground of abatement.

The appeals are accordingly dismissed as abated. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
