The Srinivasa Nagar Residents & Flat Owners Welfare Association complained to the Commissioner, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (for short, 'GHMC'), Hyderabad (1st respondent) that open places and places earmarked for parks are being in unauthorized and illegal occupation and no remedial steps are taken. The writ petition is instituted alleging that in spite of complaint to GHMC, no action is taken by GHMC. At appropriate time, the Nizampet Village was within the jurisdiction of GHMC and, therefore, the complaint was made to GHMC. Subsequently, the Nizampet Village is deleted from the jurisdiction of GHMC and the Nizampet Village is now having its own Gram Panchayat. Thus, the relief sought in the writ petition does not survive. Further more, the same association has instituted another writ petition in W.P.No.8073 of 2012 seeking similar relief.

2. Having regard to the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall

be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
