THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.4752 of 2007 ORDER:

Heard Sri Challa Gunaranjan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Smt. K.Mani Deepika, learned Standing counsel appearing for respondent No.2. The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, declaring the inaction of the respondents in re-fixing the statutory minimum price to the petitioner's unit at Metpalli, Karimnagar District, for the sugar year 2003-04 under the provisions of Sugar Cane (Control) Orders, 1966 by considering the proposals submitted by the petitioner vide letters dated 11.08.2003, 12.03.2004 and 28.09.2004, as arbitrary, illegal and violative of principles of natural justice.

At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No.2 placed on record the letter F.N.3(4) 2002, SP-II (Vol.II) dated 09.05.2008 issued by the Government of India addressed to the petitioner, which shows that the request of the petitioner was already complied with. In view of the above, this Court is of the opinion that nothing survives for adjudication and accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand dismissed.
