This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner - accused under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking anticipatory bail in PCOR No.583 of 2015-16 on the file of Narayanpet Police Station, Mahabubnagar District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8 (c) r/w.22 of the NDPS Act.

Heard and perused the material available on record. The allegation against the petitioner is that he was found in possession 15 kgs., of Alprazolam. Since the alprazolam seized in the above crime is commercial quantity, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail.

Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
