The petitioner approached the Court seeking prayer as under:
"....to issue an appropriate Writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus to declare that the petitioner is entitled to continue in VIth class as per her admission No.635 in 1st respondent school and to continue her in higher classes as per the scheme with all consequential benefits as she is only single girl child to her parents by holding the action of the respondents in cancelling the admission of the petitioner in VIth class by issuing impugned Transfer Certificate dated 30.L0.2OL2 in the middle of the academic year straight away without giving any opportunity or notice, which is clearly illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory and violative of principles of natural justice and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit just and proper in the circumstances of the case".

2. The learned Assistant appearing on behalf of the respondents brings to the notice of the Court that the cause in the present writ petition does not survive for adjudication any more by virtue of the interim order dated t4.1,1.2012 granted in favour of the petitioner.
3. Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
