Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2.

Petitioner is a Sankshema Sangham. It claims assignment of house site pattas to its members. Grievance of the petitioner Sangham is that though a representation was made on 20.02.2018 seeking allotment of house site pattas to 111 members, the same is not acted upon by the respondent authorities. Hence, this Writ Petition.

It is seen from the endorsement dated 14.09.2015 that the Tahsildar, Tenali Mandal, Guntur District, informed the person, by name, Nanduri Jaya Raju that there is no Government land available to consider the request of allotment of house site pattas to 111 applicants and therefore pattas cannot be granted. Petitioner renewed its request in the year 2018 to allot house site pattas. However, the representation dated 20.02.2018 does not state as to whether land is identified and available to extend the benefit of allotment of house site pattas, even assuming that the petitioner is entitled to the said benefit. In view of the earlier endorsement and as no new facts are brought on record in the representation made on 20.02.2018, no direction as sought for by the petitioner can be granted to it as it could serve no purpose. 4.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that subsequently information is obtained and the same would disclose availability of huge extent of land. However, the said

information ought to have been reflected in the representation of the petitioner. Even the affidavit deposed by the petitioner on 12.04.2018 does not disclose these details. If what is contended by the petitioner is true, it is open to the petitioner Sangham to make an appropriate representation requesting allotment of house site pattas, if land is available and identified by the Government already. 5.

With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
