HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.15941 of 2013 ORDER:
In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioners/A1 to A3 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.972 of 2014 of III Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad, L.B.Nagar, R.R.District, which was registered against them for the offences under Sections 498A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.
2) When the matter came up for hearing today, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 09.02.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Uppal P.S, Rachakonda Commissionerate and submitted that this case was ended in acquittal on 28.12.2016 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the FIR has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3) There is no representation for petitioners.
4) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
