M.A.Hakeem v. The State Of Telangana
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.12817 OF 2018 O R D E R:
The case of the petitioner is that he is a workman in the respondent organization and that though he is entitled to continue up to the age of 60 years as per Section 3(3) of the Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (Regulation of Age of Superannuation) Act, 1984, the respondents are insisting the petitioner to retire at the age of 58 years. The petitioner also submits that the 1st respondent has issued several G.Os. to the similarly placed persons allowing them to retire at the age of 60 years. It is also stated that the petitioner has also submitted representation dated 20.03.2018 to the 1st respondent, but as the same is not being disposed of, present writ petition is filed.
Heard both sides.
Since the representation of the petitioner dated 20.03.2018 is stated to be pending before the respondents, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of directing the competent authority to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, in accordance with Rules, before his superannuation. No order as to costs.
As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. ____________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 13.04.2018 tk
