ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:

".... to issue a Writ of Mandamus declaring resolution No.111, dated 31.8.2015, passed by respondent No.2-Municipal Council headed by respondent No.1 in connection with building construction permission No.G1/BA/903/2015 Permit No.142/2015, dated 18.03.2015 as arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently, to set aside the same."

Learned counsel for the petitioner has addressed letter, dated 25.01.2016, to the Registrar (Judicial), wherein he has informed the latter that he has instructions from his client to withdraw the Writ Petition and he has, accordingly, requested the Registry to post the Writ Petition under the caption "for withdrawal". Today, at the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner reiterated the contents of the said letter. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.53155 of 2015 shall stand dismissed as infructuous.
