THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SATYANARAYANA MURTHY Contempt Case No.1044 OF 2017 ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) The order, violation of which is alleged in the contempt case, is the order passed by a Division Bench of this Court in W.P. No. 36528 of 2015 dated 15.12.2015. The said writ petition was disposed of directing the District Consumer Forum No.III, Hyderabad to pass final orders in E.A. No. 38 of 2013 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months.

Learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies would place before us a copy of the order passed by the District Consumer Forum, Hyderabad in E.A. No. 38 of 2013 in C.C. No. 1026 of 2007 dated 19.7.2017 convicting the respondent under Section 27 of the Consumer Protection Act, and sentencing him to imprisonment for two years with fine of Rs. 10,000/-; and, in default of payment of fine, to suffer three months simple imprisonment.

It is evident, therefore, that the order of this Court has since been complied with. The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
