The petitioner is working as HMV driver in the 2nd respondent corporation. There is a promotion channel from the HMV driver to Driver Grade I.

The petitioner contends that though he is entitled for promotion on the basis of the seniority list prepared by the 2nd respondent, juniors have been promoted and petitioner was not considered. The petitioner made a representation on 30th July, 2016 to the 2nd respondent and seeks a direction to the 2nd respondent for disposal of the said representation. Sri A.K.Narasimha Rao, learned counsel for respondent No.2 stated that the 2nd respondent will consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.07.2016 within (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner.

In view of the said submission, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 30.07.2016 within (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions in the petition, if any, shall stand closed.
