The Padamara Vipparru (West Vipparrer Grama v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh,
THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE MS JUSTICE J.UMA DEVI Writ Appeal No.1098 of 2017 JUDGMENT: (Per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) After arguing for some time, Sri Mavidi Rama Rao, learned counsel for the appellant-writ petitioner, states that, instead of examining his contentions on merits, it would suffice if the District Collector, West Godavari District is directed to pass an order, in compliance with the order under appeal, within one week; and communicate his decision to the appellant-writ petitioner herein. Learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Sri Ravi Cheemalapati, learned Standing Counsel for the Gram Panchayat, express no objection for such an order being passed.
We consider it appropriate, therefore, to direct the District Collector, West Godavari District to consider the appellant-writ petitioner's representation, as directed by the Learned Single Judge in the order under appeal, pass orders thereupon and communicate his decision to the appellant-writ petitioner within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The Writ Appeal is disposed of accordingly. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
