ARLR, J WP.No.403 of 2011 Dt: 07.12.2016 Order:

An extent of Ac.1-00 cents of land situated in Survey No.152/2 of Tallayapalem, Hamlet of Mandadam Village of Thullur Mandal, Guntur District, belonging to the petitioners, was sought to be acquired for providing house sites to the weaker sections of the Society by issuing notification under Section 4 (1) of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (for short 'the Act') on 15-05-2010. Consequently, the declaration under Section 6-A of the Act was published on 24-11-2010. Assailing these two proceedings, the petitioners have filed this Writ Petition.

Today, the learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition (Andhra Pradesh) placed before the Court, the proceedings in Rc.No.1306/2010-G1, dated 31-10-2016, whereby the proposal submitted by respondent No.2 for withdrawal of the impugned acquisition proceedings was accepted and the impugned acquisition proceedings were withdrawn by respondent No.1 in exercise of his powers under Section 48(1) of the Act.

ARLR, J WP.No.403 of 2011 Dt: 07.12.2016 In view of the above subsequent event, no further orders are necessary in the present Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is closed.

As a sequel, interim order, dated 19-01-2011, is vacated and Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, stand disposed of as infructuous.
