HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.2142 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioners state that they are absolute owners and possessors of the land admeasuring Acs.3.00 gts., in Survey No.841/1338 of Fort Warangal, Warangal District. She made an application, dated 27.03.2015, under Form VI-A of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 (for short, 'the Act') for grant of pattadar passbook and title deeds and paid the requisite fee. Alleging that no action is taken by the 4th respondent, the present Writ Petition is filed.

In view of the fact that the proceedings under Form VI-A of the Act are required to be considered in a time span of 45 days, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application, dated 27.03.2015, and pass appropriate orders expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
