THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.33321 of 2017 ORDER:

The petitioner was appointed as a permanent fair price shop dealer of Shop No.52 of Kotipi Village, Hindupur Mandal in Anantapur District, in the year 1997. While so, the shop was inspected on 09.08.2017 and certain irregularities were noticed. The irregularities related to PDS rice and sugar. In view of the said irregularities a show cause notice was issued to the petitioner on 06.09.2017 and the petitioner submitted her explanation on the same day. However, having not been satisfied with the said explanation, the third respondent suspended the authorization of the petitioner pending enquiry by proceedings dated 08.09.2017. Challenging the same, the present Writ Petition is filed. Since the impugned order is an order of suspension pending enquiry, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the said order. However, the third respondent is directed to complete the enquiry as expeditiously as possible, but not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
